if you ever wanted Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch you can have it right now, because it is up for sale!
the famous place owned by the deceased singer is today on the market. so if you always wanted to own a paradise ranch now is your time to act.
the ranch was owned by the King of Pop since 1987 when he spend $19.5million but then used it as collateral for a $24.5million loan, which he defaulted on.
he moved out in 2005 after his acquittal on charges that he molested children at the ranch.
after years of teasing & waiting, the ranch is finally up for sale. as you may think, the place doesn’t come cheap, at all. priced at $100 million, the 2700 acre property features 22 structures, including a 12,000 square feet main home with 6 bedrooms & attached staff quarters.
previously known as Neverland, the property is now called Sycamore Valley Ranch.
this is the first time the ranch has hit the market since the late singer’s death.
the company that bought the singer’s debt & then restored the property has finally put the ranch, located just outside of Santa Barbara, California, on the market, according to Wall Street Journal reports.
the theme park rides along with Michael’s elephants & Bubbles the monkey may be gone, but the history remains, & you can now own it, if you have $100 million.
listed by Sotheby’s and Hilton & Hyland, most of the telltale signs if its former famous owner have been erased turning the 2700-acre property from a fun park into a grand estate.
realtor Suzanne Perkins told the Wall Street Journal that the amusement park the late singer constructed & his beloved exotic animals have long been removed.
in their place, it seems, are rolling hills, man-made water features & lakes complete with swans & even a llama or two.
however, if a Michael Jackson fan does buy the property, there are still a few small signs that it was the Neverland Ranch. the train & clock made from flowers that spells out ‘Neverland’ is still there & has been restored.
& you must know that this is not a chance for fans to see the interior of the house & where their idol has lived, because the company will not be giving tours.
while the amusement park has now been removed, there are still plenty of things to do with the property featuring a swimming pool with a cabana, basketball court, tennis court & BBQ area.
what also remains is a 50-seat movie theater with a ‘private viewing balcony’ as well as a stage that ‘includes trap doors for magic shows’.
for some time there have been reports that the home was about to go on the market – it was even claimed the new musical royalty Beyonce & Jay Z wanted to buy it.
the value of the home has been subject to speculation over the years with people suggesting figures as low as $35 million.
