Easter is right around the corner & the Most Expensive Chocolate Easter Egg in the World had to be done!

the bunny with its eggs is almost here!

are you curious to find out about the most expensive Easter egg in the world?

I’m sure you are, but first I am going to ask you this: “What came first, the egg or the chicken?”

don’t know the answer? don’t you worry ’cause you are not the only one!

since that question has no answer, let’s try find the answer at this question: “Why this egg is the most expensive in the world?”

eggs usually are not expensive let’s say they are affordable. what makes this egg be the most expensive Easter egg in the world?

the important thing here is the fact that the egg is made of chocolate

but this Easter egg was special  made for the Easter holiday in 2006.

let’s get back to answering the question I asked in the beginning. “Why this egg is the most expensive in the world?”

is pretty simple. is made of diamonds & diamonds are expensive.

not only are the girl’s best friends but they are now a part of the egg. what more can a girl want? this egg has the 2 things girls adore: diamonds & chocolate.

it is encrusted with more than 100 diamonds of 0.5 carat. that is something for an egg.

the 65 cm (25inch) egg was a creation made for La Maison du Chocolat.

with a price tag of £50,000 is no wonder is the most expensive chocolate egg in the world.

3 weeks was the total time they work on it. the hard part was attaching the diamonds.

because they didn’t use any glue or tape but melted small sections in order to attach the diamonds.

this expensive Easter egg is like a celebrity, is kept under guard at Piccadilly store.

the funny thing about the egg is whether the buyer will want to eat it or preserve it, just like the creators wondered.

Most Expensive Chocolate Easter Egg in the World is actually eatable, once you remove the diamonds. but would you eat it or preserve it?

don’t know if the Most Expensive Chocolate Easter Egg in the World had a buyer after all, but if not you can buy if you like it, of course if you have $100,000 dollars lying around.

I forgot to mention the kind of chocolate, maybe you’ll like to know.

is dark chocolate & stuffed with peach & apricot & pralines in the shape of fish.

sound yummy right? I’d love a taste of that egg. Hahaha 😀

  23. 100,000$ for a luxury Easter egg sounds really ridiculous! All those studded diamonds and precious gems, I would rather preserve such a luxury rather than eat it.
