we love to have fun. we love excitment & sometimes, a little adrenaline. that’s why we love amusement parks & all the attractions that they have to offer, especially those water rides and roller coasters.

how many of you exclaimed ‘WOW’ when you saw an amazing theme park? I bet not as surprised you will be when you’ll see our top list of the most spectacular amusement parks in the world.

 

#5 Ocean Park, Hong Kong, China

Ocean Park opened in January 10, 1977, expanding on 91.5 ha. the most popular attractions are the 4 roller coasters and the 2 water rides. it has 2 areas separated by a large mountain. the areas can be reached by a cable car system with a lenght of 1.5 km. they are called The Summit (Headland) & The Waterfront (Lowland). Ocean Park is also dedicated to education and also, it’s a marine park. you can see here beautiful sea and ocean creatures, such as seals, dolphins & jellyfish. I would like to go here.

#4 Canada’s Wonderland, Vaughan, Ontario, Canada

this spectacular park is located in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada & expands on 130 ha. Canada’s Wonderland opened in May 23, 1981 & features 16 roller coasters. with over 200 attractions, Canada’s Wonderland is one of the most visited places in the world. it is also well known for its ‘Mighty Canadian Minebuster’. it is the longest wooden roller coaster in Canada.

#3 Everland, Yongin, South Korea

Everland is located in Yongin, South Korea. it opened in 1976. With 6.6 million visitors & an incredible theme, Everland deserves to be in our top list of the most spectacular amusement parks. Everland has 5 areas : Global Fair, European Adventure, Magic Land, American Adventure & Zoo-Topia. all in all, Everland includes food, souvenirs, shops, restaurants, a petting zoo, animal shows & pony rides. the fun of your life.

#2 Europa Park, Rust, Germany

now this is something! followed by DisneyLand Paris, this is the second most popular theme park in Europe. it is located in Rust, Germany & opened in 1975. it has 85 ha, filled with 11 roller coasters, 11 water rides, a total of 54 attractions. in 2011, 4.3 million visitors walked thought its doors. that didn’t include us. unfortunately.

#1 Efteling, Netherlands

& here we are, at the #1 from our top list. owned by Efteling Nature Park Foundation, the amusement park opened in 1952 & covers 160 acres. this makes him one of the oldest parks in the world. it is located in Kaatsheuvel, Netherlands. its theme, fantasy, is quite amazing & has attractions based on elements from fables, myths, legends & most of all, fairy tales.
